61st Inter Services Boxing Championship

Indian Naval Ship Hamla, premier training establishment of the Indian Navy is hosting the 61st Inter Services Boxing Championship. The finals of the event will be conducted on 20 Oct11.The inter services Boxing Championship was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and fanfare yesterday evening. Commodore Pradeep Joshi MS (Mumbai) Chief Guest on the occasion declared the meet open.

Two teams from Army and one each from the Air Force and Navy are participating in the Championship, in all the 11 weight categories of Boxing. The event was witnessed by large number of dignitaries and VIPs both the Civil and Defence Services.

The biggest attraction of the event being participation of both nationally and inter nationally acclaimed boxers from the three services. The results in various categories are:-
