Three bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons found in Khuzdar
Three bullet-riddled bodies of Baloch missing persons were found on Thursday in the Ferozabad area of Khuzdar district, Levies officials said.According to Tehsildar Mohammad Umar, passers-by spotted the bodies near a river and informed the nearby Levies station. The bodies were then taken to hospital for autopsies where they were identified as those of Hamid Issazai, Lal Khan Sumalani and Mir Khan Sumalani of Kalat district. “The victims were hit in the head by bullets while the bodies bore marks of torture,” hospital sources said. The identities of the dead people were ascertained through written slips found in the pockets of their clothes. “The name and caste was written on each slip,” an official added.Chairman Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), Nasrullah Baloch confirmed that all the three victims were Baloch missing persons. “They had been whisked away a few weeks ago from central Balochistan by intelligence agencies”.He said that all the missing persons have direct or indirect political affiliations and that is why they were taken away. Meanwhile the Baloch Students Organisation (BSO-AZAAD) has called a strike in Khuzdar today (Friday) in protest against the recovery of the bodies of the three missing persons. BSO says that violation of human rights is on the rise in the Balochistan while such inhuman acts are going unnoticed by the “champions of humanitarian organisations”.
